Skinny jeans have become very trendy among men. Do you love them or hate them?
Slim-fit pants have been trendy in several era in recent history. In the first part of the 19th century, a kind of tight fitting trousers worn high on the waist was very popular, they later declined, before becoming trendy again in the 1950s. Since then, skinny trousers, and especially skinny jeans, are in the center of fashion trends from time to time.
Lately, skinny jeans have become trendy again. Back in the late 70s and 80s they were associated to hard rock and punk music bands. However those wearing extremely tight jeans now want to convey a very different look. However, some people critic their lack of confort and other voices alert of possible medical issues, related to blood circulation or fertility. Another worry is the importance given by our society to the fact of being skinny, an issue also debated when talking about zero-size models.
