Happy World Tourism Day!

On 27 September we celebrate the World Tourism Day (WTD). That date was chosen by the United Nation World Tourism Organization, in 1970, to raise awareness about the imporant socio-economic and cultural implications of the growing phenomenon of tourism.

The United Nation is also taking advantage of this date to promote Tourism for All, a campaign to achieve universal accessibility in tourism. The goal being enabling people, including world citizens with physical, social or economic limitations, to enjoy tourism and experience the incredible diversity of our planet and the beauty of the world we live in.
