Would you rather grow flowers or vegetables?

Having a small garden is the dream of many, in particular in urban areas. However once you have the space there is a tough dilemma: Would you rather grow beautiful flowers in your garden or turn it into a orchard with juicy and fruit and vegetables? Do you prefer an ornamental garden or growing your own food?
