New virtual reality devices are expected to come to the market soon.
Virtual reality (VR) generally refers to computer-simulated environments that recreate sensory and immersive experiences. One of its applications is video games. Several VR devices are expected to hit the market in the coming months such as Oculus Rift's headset and Sony's Project Morpheus. These pieces of hardware open a wide range of new possibilities for the gaming industry. Console and PC users will be able to play games like they never did before. But there are also some drawbacks and difficulties associated to their use.
Do you think VR will become game changers in the video games industry? Is it just a marketing strategy? Are the disadvantages of VR going to hinder its commercial success?

I think virtual reality could be very great for videogames, but as Juanan said, we have been so disappointed in the past by the announcement around this new technology that we have to be convinced by a real good product. For me, 3D is not as good as they tried to sold it to us, and I'm afraid there is still a long way to go before we can experience a great virtual reality.
