PlayStation Vita (PSVita) is the latest Sony handheld console. So far, PS Vita has struggled to make an impact in the portable console market compared to other competitors. But do you think PS Vita will become a commercial success in the long run?

The PS Vita  is a portable console launched in December 2011. Although this console was received with very positive reviews by the specialized press it has not manage to become a complete success in commercial terms, in particular when compared to its predecessor the Sony PSP or its main competitor the Nintendo 3DS. PS Vita has received now a boost thanks to the introduction of many Indie games in its catalogue and the capability of being used for remote playing with PS4.

PlayStation Vita has a powerful hardware and a growing catalogue of games. Moreover it is being further integrated in the Sony ecosystem.

Will PSVita become a commercial success in the end? Please vote and explain us why this may or not happen.

The mobile gaming market is changing and people are more and more playing with tablets and smartphones, and the performances of these devices are improving... Now I guess it will be very difficult for Sony, or any other company (e.g. Nintendo), to be successful in this market.
