With their latest album, “Four”, selling 142,000 copies in its first week, One Direction's popularity shows no sign of stopping. The band was propelled to success in 2011 with the release of their first album “Up All Night”, and all of their subsequent albums have been extremely popular around the world. The band is made up of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan. With Forbes listing them as the second highest earning celebrities under 30 in 2014, it is clear that they are hugely successful.
"Beliebers" are known to be fans of Justin Bieber, "little monsters" are fans of Lady Gaga, and "directioners" follow One Direction. “Directioners” usually have a favorite 1D member. What about you?

My favourite Direction is Upwards, closely followed by Backwards; Sideways is trying for a solo career and Up and Away is clearly breaking the band apart
