Mods vs Rockers: they listen to different music, have different hair styles and fashions, and even ride different motorcycles.
Mods and rockers are two distinct subcultures associated to a particular music, fashion style and type of motorcycles. Rockers prefer rock and roll, leather jackets, pompadour hair, and big motorcycles. Mods are linked to modern jazz, soul and ska music, tailor-made suits with narrow lapels, French nouvelle vague hairstyle, and scooters. A legendary rivalry between mods and rockers emerged in 1964 when members of these groups violently clashed in Brighton. In reality both groups have coexisted largely peacefully since those events.
