Are you one of the 600 million WhatsApp users? Happy with the double blue check mark functionality that reveals if the recipient of a message has read it?

WhatsApp is the most successful messaging application in the world and was acquired by Facebook. WhatsApp has finally explained the meaning of the blue check marks in its popular messaging application and introduced an update in this functionality. A single grey tick now means that the message has been successfully sent, while two grey ticks mean it has been delivered to their phone. Once the ticks turn blue, the recipient has read your message.
WhatsApp might have solved an important doubt but triggered a greater polemic. This new feature has been highly celebrated by some users and criticized by others who consider it as an invasion of their privacy. Many people don't want other people to know when they check their messages and find the blue marks as intrusive.
