FIFA vs Pro Evolution Soccer. Football (soccer) videogame franchises battle. Which one do you prefer? Vote in our poll and tell us why!
PES vs FIFA
FIFA Football (or FIFA Soccer) and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) are the most successful football (soccer) franchises in the story of videogames. Since Electronic Arts released the first FIFA Soccer game in 1993 the franchise has sold over 100 million games worldwide. Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series (also known as World Soccer: Winning Eleven) came out in 1996. Ever since Konami has sold over 80 million copies worldwide. Both franchises launch a new game every year. Despite the frequency of the releases these games tend to be very positively received, not only by the general public and soccer fans, but also by video game critics.
The new installments of the series FIFA 17 and PES 2017 are bringing their rivalry to a new level. Gamers and reviewers see the gap in terms of quality of these two games to keep on narrowing. It is becoming very much a choice in terms of type of gameplay and community, what game are your friends playing. After several years in which FIFA seemed to reign supreme, many argue that PES has taken over their Electronic Art's rival.
Which of the two is your favorite football / soccer videogame franchise? Why?

Yep, I can confirm that from the first trial I had, the game seems very improved. The GK are definitely better, the sprinting/running is better and more fluid. Long range shots are harder although I sent 3 to the top bar in one game from just after the middle circle. But at least it seems like the GKs are more responsive on long shots so hopefully you won't be able to score just by randomly kicking the ball and the GK not moving to defend. I'll give an update when I try it again. Overall, 15 feels like has improved a lot of the 14's issues. So for now, good job EA. Time will tell when we start finding the bugs. After all, it's EA we are talking about, no good EA game is launched without major bugs :)
