Convince George R.R. Martin to write the ending of "A Song of ice and Fire" saga and keep it in a safe place so in case something bad happens to him another writer can complete the series. The petition would concern "A Song of Ice and Fire" book readers and TV viewers of "Game of Thrones"

Explanation of the petition:
We want to convince George R.R. Martin and his publishers secure the ending of "A Song of Ice and Fire". George R.R. Martin, keeps writing longer and longer (and excellent) books and delaying the publication of latest installments of the saga. After publishing the third book of "A Song of Ice and Fire" (A Storm of Swords, 2000), it took him more than 10 years to publish the fourth (A feast for Crows 2005) and fifth installments (A Dance with Dragons 2011). As he was born in 1948, there is an increasing concern among his fans that unfortunately, George R.R, Martin could pass away before finishing his masterpiece. That is why we are kindly requesting him and his publishers, Bantam Books and Voyager Books, to secure the ending of the saga. He could write a document in which he explains in detail how the saga ends. All fans of Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire will appreciate the gesture.

We are a group of readers and TV viewers and we love your stories. A Song of Ice and Fire and its adaptation for TV, Game of Thrones, are masterpieces. However, we are a little worried that such a huge and captivating story could remain unfinished if something was to happen to you. We obviously wish you well, and our worry is only about the expectations of millions fans you have all over the world. That is why, all the persons signing this petition kindly ask you to write a small document explaining the end of the story, a document that you or your publisher could keep in a safe place just in case. We hope that this document will never be necessary, and wait for your new books and TV shows with great expectation. Thanks for all the great times you offer us.
